Potential Conflicts between Protoss and Terrans

Do you think there will be conflicts between the Protoss and Terran in the SC2 storyline?I mean i can't see any reason they will get into it......any suggestions,ideas?? ^_^

 

confederacy remaints will try to steal a protoss planetary defense mechanism that was almost finished on aiur to use it against the dominion but they will meet a protoss fleet

 

Oh please. I don't think there is going to be any shortage of conflict in that god forsaken sector.

Seriously. Fighting over artifacts,resources or honor is one of the millions of ways blizzard could create conflict.

 

I mean after all the Terran fear the Zerg,do u think they won't attack Protoss,to increase their chances of survival.Seriously,if SC is a true story,everyone besides zerg will be building their forces just in case for an attck from the zerg,if they doesn'twant to be extinct.btw,Protoss doesn't seem to have any real problem with terran factions(Maybe Fenix don't like Kel-Morian Combine but he is dead.)

 

In the demo single-player mission at BlizzCon we got to see a Terran vs. Protoss mission. It's safe to say that once again all three races will be duking it out. Even though Raynor and the Protoss are on friendly terms, most of the other Terrans are not. There's a lot to fight over in the sector aside from the Zerg.

 

So what do u think is the reason they fight each other then.

 

Well in the demonstrated mission, Raynor's group wanted an artifact that the Protoss had and clearly were not giving away. But here are some other reasons Protoss and Terran might fight:

- Some Protoss are still mired in the old ways of the conclave and disapprove of alliances with other races
- Some Terran factions (Mengsk's Dominion) want to expand an empire and the Protoss are in the way
- In Starcraft 2, these Xel 'Naga artifacts are going to be fought over a lot
- Protoss and Terran have different viewpoints on how to combat the Zerg (Protoss planet incineration, Terran drawn out conflicts)
- While Raynor is friendly with Protoss factions such as Zeratul and Artanis's group, other factions (from both sides) are not as happy with one another

So pretty much members of both races have conflicting interests, just like they did in the original Starcraft. There is always something to fight over, and Blizzard will probably create a few more reasons. Much of the coolness of the game is due to all three races fighting each other. We will be seeing PvT, PvZ, PvP, TvZ, TvT, and ZvZ combinations without a doubt.

 

or perhaps Duran might have his own Protoss,Terran and Zerg to wage havoc.^^Do u think Fleet of Executor will have a feud with Raynor Raiders?If so,they have to "abandon" Sargas Tribe and use Velari Tribe instead. But i thinkt hat is unlikely,Umojan Protectorate/Kel-Morian Combine vs.Fleet of Executor make more sense.

Of course, all three races will all fight with each other for one reason or another. From a gameplay standpoint, it would would only make sense to be able to fight as all three races- against all three races.

 

Of course there will be. Did you not see the protoss demo? Protoss can be just as stubborn as we can and Mengsk isn't exactly a bridge builder if you know what I mean.

 

if any conflict where to arive it would have to be after the protoss got there home planet back becase they may need terrrans assitance to get a foot hold on the planet and if Raynor dies (the only human holding the protoss and terrans together)

 

The only Terrans who are actually in any way allied with the Protoss is Raynor's Raiders and I don't think Mengsk or any of the other groups would think twice before rolling over the 'toss to meet an objective

 

That relationship kinda crumbled after Fenix died and Zeratul left.

 

the relationship is still there,just they ahve gone seperate ways for there reasons.
yet in the story overview it shows zeratul on the hyperion speaking with raynor about the xel naga which pobably means they will be workiing together

 

Well, the tribes stopped being a bunch of warring factions and became peaceful communities, the protoss didn't just meld into one big society even though they had the khala.

Also, didn't Ulrazaj (I don't know how to spell it) die when the protoss protecting the warpgate let off the huge burst of void/khala psi energy to stop the Zerg/Valarien/Ulrazaj?

I hope that no one cares that I just said that...

 

The tribes continued to exist as a reminder of the chaos that had been commonplace before the khala.

We didn't see. He either did, or he didn't. Its a plot device that makes his character expendable. If blizzard wants to use him again for a campaign they can say that he didn't die. If they don't, well then he died.

 

Who is Ulrazaj?

 

he is from the enslavers campaign and the main antagonist of starcraft: shadow hunters
