Possible Starcraft 2 Release on 2/2/2008?

It would be cool but I doupt it, also that video is completely made up of scenes of videos already shown by blizzard so I would guess its fan made because if blizzard was going to create something like that I would guess they would use new stuff.

I agree, it looks fan made. Every scene, except the release date, is from other videos. I doubt it will be out before summer, but one can dream.

yeah its totally fake man...

if blizzard wanna make a release date..the'll probably make another trailer for it...maybe a movie file where you see the three races in a battle and then at the end it shows "STARCRAFT 2" + "release date"

Also, the zerg will be revealed before they would set the release date for the game.

Fake. You can tell from the music and from the poor editing of the cut scenes.

You might also be able to guess that there's no way the release will occur that soon for two reasons:

1) Zerg haven't been revealed

2) Beta testing hasn't begun

When would beta testing begin, and who would be allowed to test it?

 

My money for initial release is still April 1st 2008, the 10 year anniversary.

However, I fear it will not be till Oct. 1st due to it being held back for perfection. But that's all good. Oct 1st is my B-day.

 

My bet in in the first week of June.

At latest, the first week of October.

I'd love to see this in April though. I'll be getting a new computer soon, specifically so I can play SC2.

Well, I wouldn't mind it somewhat later, I don't see me getting new PC by April

 

Also, a longer wait means that hopefully the game will be better than if it was released earlier. As long as they get the game out by the fall next year, I will wait patiently.

 

Something like "STARCRAFT RELEASE DATE 2/2/2008!!!!!!"
