Poll: Hours on Starcraft / Wk

We're doing a poll on how many hours a player can spend online playing StarCraft a week. Do you think there's an addiction issue going on? Would you give up your girlfriend/boyfriend for StarCraft?

Maybe around 5 or 6/week, and lol I wouldn't give up my gf for like anything...

 

I typically get home at 3. Get on the computer at 3:30 or 4, play until 7, eat, play until 11 and then sleep, wake up go to school, repeat.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday consist of all day playing up until 3 in the morning.

So what's that equate to? I would say 35 hours for weekdays, weekends is like uh, 8AM-3AM on and off, maybe 20 hours? I don't know.

 

Aw, man, that's a crapload of hours there!

Didn't do me much good though tbh, lol, once I had passed the first 3 rounds of the national mathematical constest for students with first prizes in all 3, and was into entering the last round for picking up the national team for the olympiad, since I was 1 year below the year where I would be taught at school the minimum stuff needed to be able to solve the problems in that part, my mother looked up the tests, saw what I needed to study to cover for being underage, and left me a note on what I should study on a schoolbook of the next year's math and money to buy something to eat since she was working early and had to go.

I took the money, went to the local net caffee and beat everyone up in broodwar matches till I ran out of it.

Next day in the contest, I lost the spot in the olympic team for the most marginal of differences from the above guy and the only problem I was unable to tackle required knowledge of one of the 2 theorems my mother had noted down for me to study...


I was like unbeatable in my town on broodwar though, lol

 

I won the local tournaments. 150$

 

Alas for us it was only pride...

But I also got 50k drachmas for one of the math contests(that should be like 150 euro now, but you could buy around as much stuff as you can with like 400-500 today...)

I have made a deal with my friend Philip that i wont play starcraft EVER again untill my other friend CJ stops playing it xD.... 'cause he just plays it too much (and he sucks at it)
so i play starcraft 0 hours / week ^^

but i do actaully play League of Legends instead and i probably play that game like 1-3 hours / day...
I dont really do anything else that just sitting in front of my computer whenever i can

 

usually I play 3 hours a day at nights, on weekends a little more, so around 25-30 per week.

By the way I usually sleep 5 hours a day ... work and games dont match very well (oh, I work with computers too, so I stay with a PC for 12-14 hours daily :S)

35-40 hours a week -.- (although im pretty much addicted to sotis for the time being)

 

hehe... in fact, if i stop a moment to think ... the time on starcraft, plus the time on other games ... (CODMW2 i.e.) .... plus the time working,... plus the time on gym, plus the time when i hang out with collegues for beers or riding my motorcycle (HD)...

... sometimes I undesrtand why my wife complains hahahahaha
