Hahaha, Fenix. I respect your honesty and valor. I'm actually thinking of getting a DS for no other real reason than Pokemon at the moment. The original Gameboy was fun as hell.

Even with all the weird Japanese cutesy stuff, it's still a model of an extremely good RPG, which is my gaming forte. I can't pass it up.

And there's so many other great games on the DS....Mario Kart, Castlevania, FFIII, WarioWare, Phoenix Wright.....The list goes on and on.

I tell you what, if a pokemon mmo was ever made it would be the absolute wow-killer. Think of the possibilities and the amount of fun to play a pokemon mmo. You run around as the trainer, battle and capture wild pokemons, do quests, equip your pokemon with armour and learn new abilities, battle with other trainers individually or in group battle (pvp).

Who else agrees this would be the best mmo game? Now if only Nintendo would actually make it.

You don't like the Lites? Why? I don't own a Lite, and I own the first version DS also, and purchased it a few days after it came out, but the Lite just looks better. I remember when the PSP came out a couple of years ago, and I really wanted to buy it, but now, it's almost not as good as the DS. The gameplay on it is...well...okay, but the Lite is the portable gaming system which has the best gameplay, and Nintendo were the people who really started the portable gaming revolution, with the Game and Watch, the original Game Boy; which rocked our pockets. Then came the Game BoyColor, which introduced a color LCD instead of the standard black and white LCD. Then came the first version Game Boy Advance, which sported graphics equivalent to the Super Nintendo, and the other Game Boy Advance enhancements, (the SP and the Micro). Then came a great Nintendo invention, the Nintendo DS, which we all know about. Then came its current enhancement, the DS Lite, which many of us use now. But yes, Pokemon became popular for some strange reason because it was just the best RPG Nintendo had made in a long time. I believe the first Pokemon game was Yellow, and was released for the Game Boy Color, am I right? Then, Japanese and American children went crazy over the game because of its easy mechanics and gameplay, not knowing what they were playing was actually an RPG. I have not purchased Diamond or Pearl for the DS, because I have no intent on doing so, for I am not that interested in Pokemon much anymore. Is anybody here smart enough to answer my little quiz question for you? What does Pokemon really mean? Split up its syllables, and you may find out, or, you may already know. 50 minerals and a  will be given to the first person who answers correctly, but here's the deal, if I am going to give you your prize if you answer first and correctly, you MUST first give me a , because that's a big prize I'm giving. Because I am a generous person.

Correct! Now, before I send you minerals and give you a powerup, I expect that you give me a . Do it if you want the prize!

    Canada, eh?
I want to buy a DS just for this and possible new ones but...

A lot more of my friends have Xboxeseseses so I'm going to get a job and save for one.
Might get a DS too. Is Wi-Fi built into the DS or is it another thing I have to buy/register?

The antenna is, but you have to go to where there's a Hotspot or buy a twenty dollar USB that you plug into your computer to make one.
