PM space does not compute

The forums dont know how to count. Also I am a pack rat and I don't even think 50 is enough.

 

Check your outbox (I say for the 5th time to someone...)

 

I know about the outbox I am commenting on the fact that total messages is higher than max mesages.

Can you do me a favor and PM me to see if it is doing anything funny.

 

The reason I keep mentioning the outbox is because it counts tworards your total message capacity (I think). Also the reason you are over capacity is because you started off with that many from the old forum none were actually sent to you.

I sent you PM respond if you can, if you thinks its doing anything funky.

 

It does count your outbox toward your total. I'm currently using 2 out of the 100 since I got a PM, and sent a reply.

 

I know that the outbox contributes to max capacity.

If its full you can recieve but not send.
I think 50 is too low I dont want to have to delete messages every week.


Also a side note the bar at the top right is showing total messages. Is there a way so it only shows inbox items

 

On GaiaOnline it automitically deletes old messages once your inbox is full.

 

We definateley need more PM space.

Back in forum 1.0 the admin said that we would get additional PM space when we get a higher post count become a mod etc maybe it will actually happen this time

I don;t mind either way, I jsut hate deleting the posts because it takes so much time *dies*

I think you can do it by time (last week, 2 weeks ago, older etc.), but I wiped 'em so can't check

 

Same here, it did keep telling me that I have unread messages, and I didn't have the mood to browse all over again my old PMs

 

you have lots of unread coz you didnt read it here in the new forums thats why it says unread

Yes it was, but now it's just annoying. if you want to keep one out of a batgch then you have to go through and delete all the others x.x

 

That is life Useless work for a simple pm to stay. I guess you've done it already, so it doesn't really count as a huge problem
