So I'm not the greatest player but I am in gold division in 1v1 and 2v2, and I play purely Zerg. One things that bugs me is when my 2v2 partner isn't on so I can't 2v2, But what bugs me even more is that I have to 1v1. I do understand Zerg can beat Protoss and Terran, and that it's not unwinnable every single time you go up against Protoss, But I think we can all agree by looking at the stats of what's played the most and a lot of the nerfs / buffs given out that Zerg is a bit more underhanded than the other two races. What I'm wondering is if there is anyone else who is getting sick of constant Z vs P matches and is thinking about race changing just for 1v1. Because I definitely am. I do and have won a few against toss, But a lot of times it was either dumb luck or a dumb Protoss player. I know I do still have a few things to learn but it feels as if I could easily just switch races for 1v1 and have an easier time than trying to man up and learn how to just beast Protoss. I'm thinking about playing as Terran soley for 1v1 but I'm not sure. Any other Zergs out there that strictly play Zerg except for 1v1's? This isn't a QQ post but if you hurt my feelings I probably will cry so.. :[

I play zerg strictly in mid-plat league 1v1

I dont think zerg is severely underpowered (maybe a little against terran). the zerg is a very different race compared to the other 2 and requires a different playing style to play it properly. we kind of have to respond to what our opponents do. our units are weaker, aye, but our strengths are map control and faster units.

I like playing zerg and have no plans for switching race!!

I actually think its really easy to beat protoss as zerg...like i'm really pissed at myself if i lose because its either because i completely messed up or they used a really weird strat.

Terran rolls me though :( Perhaps it would be a better idea telling us how you play so we can help :D

well, I basically go mass ling (+baneling if lots of marines) into a few mutas to gain map control (and kill off a few scv if im lucky) take a ****load of expos and tech into ultralisks/broodlord.

I think the most important thing is to avoid a "blob" battle unless you can win it. zerglings have crazy speed so you can choose where and when to battle:)

ofc it dont always go that way:)

btw....how do you put your account into your sig?:)

Hmm. Honestly it could very well just be me not having enough experience yet. I feel like I have the most trouble with protoss though, But probably because I hardly play anything but Protoss in 1v1 haha.

zvz are the weirdest match-ups but I feel I also learn the most from those. They feel really weird, but I always feel that I know where I went wrong immediately.

I haven't felt the "imba" of terran much except in some mech play, but that really was my own fault...i think. I need a lot more experience to be sure. I'm loving zerg and really feel comfortable against both terran early game/bio builds and most toss strats.
