Can't find this mentioned elsewhere. Play.com have the game down as ready for release on 26/09/2008. Anyone reckon this is just a placeholder until they get more information, or do the channel partners get info ahead of time? http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/3432909/StarCraft-II/Product.html
several online websites have created such dates, only the date that blizzard releases is worth anything. and trust me you will know when this happens.
Haha, why do they just make up some date? TBA would work. But I know, people look around, "OH THIS HAS IT SOONER!"
I have a feeling it will be end of the year/beginning of next year. Would seem more "doable" then earlier. Plus, if they sold the game with the new fiscal year, they could benefit from that.
Hahh. I know blizzard. I've been playing there games for years and they are notorious for releasing dates and not coming out for about a year to 2 years! A perfect example is Diablo 2.
LOL, just open up your BW CD case. I think Blizz has learned their lesson about release dates by now.
I wouldn't mind seeing a release date this year, but I will understand if it's not. I'm one of those patient souls that knows the longer you wait for the game, the better it should be. Perfect example is Valve.
yeah its a shame play.com and every other site just estimates it...why dont they justput "TBA" Its really not hard and doesnt mislead anyone. I was one of the people who actually thought it was gonna get released late 2007, oh how nieve i was lol. Im now thinking more early 2009. Infact im hoping, i dont think i can wait longer i would burst.
But if the sites put a "TBA" then they wouldn't try to reel in the naive people who actually thought, "WOW THIS PLACE IS GETTING THE GAME SOONER!" *BUY* It's sad that companies have to take advantage of people in order to make sales, but I guess the same can be said about the other side...they deserve losing their money to that site because they 1.) didn't know 2.) didn't research.
