Platinum/diamond zerg - Streaming now on Justin.tv

Hey zerg friends!

I'm currently a rank 1 platinum level zerg (soon to be diamond hopefully ), and just started streaming live in Justin.tv.

When learning to play, I always found that it was helpful to watch pro games to grasp strategy and decision making. I'm sure many of you fellow zerg out there may have interest in people like Destiny, Spanishiwa, or Sen. Although its great to watch those pros play, they do many things very quickly that you may or may not be able to emulate, also, I feel that in high level games, the pros are exposed to things that are a bit different than you might see in platinum level and diamond level.

I tend to play at a relatively high APM (~110), and my goal is to go from platinum to masters soon. I find that streaming has given me new motivation to play, and have been successfully winning over the last couple days against high diamond level players. I've gone through the platinum ranks quickly, and hopefully Blizz will FINALLY put me in diamond in the next couple days.

I as a master player support this channel, as Supernova is a misplaced zerg player who easily belongs in diamond.

I suggest this channel, if you wish to learn the strong mechanics of zerg macro.

I think my MMR average is low for 1s cuz I really only played 1s in season 1.. and started in bronze and over 109 wins (about 200 games) worked into platinum. In season 2 I pretty my only played 2s, 3s, 4s.

This season I'm pretty sure im 31 wins over 42 games. Considering that I've beaten the last 3 top 25 diamond protoss I've played, and the last 3 top 25 Terran, I think I'm omw to diamond very soon.

OR maybe it's just delaying my promotion because its gonna just jump me straight to masters.. LOL

often the MMR is waiting for you to lose a couple of games, to know exactly where you belong,

OR

you are up for double promotion such as masters, if you continue a winning streak or winning against key players

OR

you are inconsistent, you aren't winning consistently enough against players whose MMR is lower than yours but still winning against players with higher MMRs than yours.

the closer you are to rank 1 in your division, and you are slowly climbing, that is a sign that you are NOT going to be promoted, as you are just playing a lot and racking up points to up your ranking but not doing well with your MMR.
