I was just salivating over the Limited Edition unboxing pics when I noticed Ars Technica had StarCraft II Guest Passes included in their package. Now I know some parts of the world (notably Korea) have subscription services ala-WoW. However, I thought US players were exempt from that. Can anyone here give some clarification?

Pay to Play is only in certain regions. The Guest-Cards included (also to the "normal" retail, 2 of them) are worth "14 Days or 7 Hours of playtime". There will definatly be no limitation / "bonus" pay in regions like US....

Thanks. So what are the Guest Cards for? If you want your friends to try SC2 or play against you?
