So... Vickings are a little less tough in air mode but also better damage vs unarmored units. This'll make them more of a general anti-air unit and they won't be quite as effective against battlecruisers or carriers because of the armor change. Reapers keep roughly the same DPS vs. buildings (actually slightly higher at 16.67 vs 16.0 but it's also slightly more vulnerable to armor) but it will be less spikey so it will be harder for a group of reapers to destroy a building in one or two volleys. Orbital command builds faster to keep up with the other races economy boosting options, but this also means terrans will get detection even easier. Observer speed gets a little cheaper, guess it's so it will be easier for protoss to react if they half the fly an observer halfway across the map to spot some raiding cloaked units. High Templar lose phase shift (which was basically a 1 target stasis) and instead gain feedback which should be useful for killing/crippling enemy casters but is still single target only. Colossus gets a slight AoE nerf I think not sure how to interpret that. Mothership loses the hax wormhole and the temporal rift which seemed redundant as it had a very similar role to the vortex. The vortex itself was nerfed but it also gains a mass recall which I imagine can recall an even larger army than a starcraft 1 arbiter could. It won't be invincible as long as it has 25 energy anymore but it will also opens up whole new tactics as an offensive tool or even to retreat your entire army easily if you keep the mothership at your base. Nexus chrono boost loses the ability to target allies since that probably lead to the ability to make a terran or zerg ally tech up faster than any solo terran/zerg could. Infestor gets some big changes. Fungal growth can no longer one shot unupgraded marines/probes/drones and also becomes more effective against zerg with burrow. Neural parasite now works on anything, even a mothership supposedly, but your infestor will be vulnerable while channeling, should still be enough time to say pop a vortex on the enemy though. And of course some generic bugfixes.
No, they just have been put on a diet so they don't have as much fat on them to squeeze between buildings.
So detection was tweaked a lot in this patch? Don't really like that, if i make an invisible char, i want it to be hard to find.
