I dont know how it is in SC BW, but in wc3, u can join what ever channel you want. Write "/join"
then space, then the name of the channel. Like for instance, if I want to join channel Sweden. I just write, "/Join Sweden", or I can write "/channel Sweden". When u get a clan. the "clan" then space will be before what ever clan. If u start clan DarkTemplar and it will be short as DT u will write "/join clan DT" or "/channel clan DT" this channel will be under your controll. U can ban, and keep it private if u want. In order to get the "clan" u need to create a clan. In wc3 you have to be atleast 9 persons. GL and HF

StarCraft and StarCraft Brood Wars clients no longer have the ability to create Clan channels ever since WarCraft III was introduced but there are other means of getting one (I.E. bots.) We do have the ability to create Op (Operator) channels. The way the channel gives the person an Operator position (the one with the gavel icon) is that the Operator must be named like the channel.

Here is an example using your name:
Create channel X[D_Malibu and join it. You will become the Channel Operator for as long as you are there. You can designate one other person to be an operator with you, but doing that also gives control of that channel to that person.

Here are some useful chat channel commands while you are the channel operator:

    /designate [user] - (Ex: /designate AlenL)
Selects [user] as the next channel operator when you step down, either by resigning or by leaving the channel. If the channel Operator leaves the channel and has designated more than one person, the last person designated will have ops.

    /resign
Step down as channel operator and become a normal user again.

    /rejoin - (Ex: /rejoin)
makes you rejoin the channel you are currently in.

    /kick [user] - (Ex: /kick TwainM)
Kicks a user out of the channel. This is best used as a warning since a kicked user can return at their leisure.

    /ban [user] - (Ex: /ban RobertB)
Kicks a user out of the channel and prevents them from returning until the current operator steps down or leaves the channel. This is the most powerful command at an operator's disposal, use it wisely.

    /unban [users] - (Ex: /unban RobertB)
Allows a banned user to return to the channel.

I was going to say something similar to Imagine because I remember there actually being things that acted like clan channels back when I used to play sc alot. One question though Imagine doesn't the bot also require some sort of CD-key?

P.S. On a seperate note congragulations Imagine it's always cool to see another person join the rank of Hero.

Oh yes! Most bots require CD-Keys unless you are going to be using the Public Chat Channels.

    Thanks! :)
