    What's the problem with it? Does it just not install or does it install but has glitches/bugs/crashes when you play?

    When i run the set up it just opens up a window i can't see, touch, move, minimize, maximize or in fact do anything with. It has the title of online sierra setup. I can't adjust the resolution or even run it in compatibility mode to get it to work.

    I doubt you'll be able to run it on Vista then. Since it was made for Windows 95, and the OS's have gone through a lot of changes, it's probably impossible, at least to the normal user. You could try using a virtual OS. They simulate an OS using basically the same codes, but you'll need a copy of the OS install CD. No promises, but I might be able to hook you up with one.

    Yeah I have been looking for a virtual driver, dam the non-existent backward compatibility of windows. Anyway if you could find one it would be wonderful

    I'm pretty sure I have an installer or at least an ISO file on my computer, but I'll have to check. I'll let you know if I find it.

    Doesn't Vista have these compatibility modes thing XP had?
    Y'know in right click-> properties ->compatibility
    It rarely ever helps, but sometimes it actually works with some games

    Win 95 is archaic hough and runs atop DOS so a virtual machine would work better. I seem to remember Outpost being a DOS and win 95 game.

    As I already said compatibility mode does less than nothing to help the situation. I need like a windows 95 emulator or something of the like.

    Yeah it needs both a windows and a dos, I tried to run it in the dos but it just told me i still needed windows

    Sorry for not being helpful, but, seriously, try Outpost 2, it's staggeringly better than the first game.
