What's better than Gordon Freeman killing headcrab zombies? Why, Gordon Freeman killing regular zombies!! Just a fun little mod I found for Half Life 2. Called Outbreak, (You might also need SMOD, not sure if it's included), it adds bone crunching brain munching goodness to vanilla Half Life. I'm not sure there's a story or anything, but basically it's you against the Combine (there's some excellent looking custom units - Think Helghasts from Killzone) against a crapload of zombies. It also adds a few physics tweaks (grenades have a much larger radius, you jolt when you get shot) and has a complete weapon replacement. The damage is also changed. You can unload most of your clip into a zombie and have it still come at you. However, in true zombie style, one headshot, no matter the weapon, takes it down for good. Well they creep me out.. For example the bonus stage at the end of COD 5. I hate that. Creepy stuff, altough I know it is not real, but they made a shady environment.. with nazi zombies. Sick idea...
