Two questions: I am currently running Vista on my laptop, and my desktop computer has XP. My desktop has SC1 on it, whereas my laptop doesn't, and I am wondering, is SC1 compatible with Vista? My next question is, is SC2 going to be compatible with XP, or would I need to upgrade my desktop to Vista once SC2 comes out? Thanks - P.S. 1. Yes, SC1 is compatible with Vista, but only barely. You may find yourself having trouble with the colors and its interaction with your video card. Colors might often invert just because the software is old. Also, at this time Vista is full of bugs and is pretty unstable. 2. SC2 will most definitely support XP.
Well if you have problems on the Vista (Colors) just change the 32 bit to 16 bit. I don't remember what is is called but its in Personalize (XP is Properties, but it changed on vista) Ask job he might know what I'm talking about. And that will fix it.
Yeah they changed it to personalize on Vista. I'm not a big fan of Vista myself, but its not bad. Once the EB/GameStop near me finally gets restocked on battle chests I'll have to go pick one up. Thanks for the advice.
