I have the following problem : when i play vs terran and have a game over 15mins they gather their stimpack bioball and i lose most of the times... So i just try to beat them within the first 6-7 minutes of the game with roach rush or baneling bust. Anyone else having the same problem ? How do you counter the bioball ???
Spread creep and flank with centrifugal hooked banelings and speedlings with at least 1 melee upgrade. The most effective way would probably be to burrow banelings but I have yet to pull that off with success.
Fungal growth is key. It does so much damage to marines.. it hurts marauders too, but not so much. However the way to deal with tight Terran balls (and Protoss too to some extent) as a Zerg is to slowly whittle their hp and units away. As they start to move across the map you gotta flank with zerglings, counteract to split attention, split army with fungal growth, then once they reach your base they should no longer be as organized/tight as intended. That's when you roll in with banelings from the back and defend with roaches from hte front and surround with zerglings.
Banelings counter marines alot and they are about even against marauders when you flank so thats the way to go
hi, if not followed by detector, burrowed banelings should work. Just remember to spread creep to see them coming, get banes in the way properly burrowed (not too far one form the other, not a ball) and rightcliked ... once most marines are burnt finish with the roaches and go harass. hope this helps
^ Actually, spreading creeps over your burrowed banelings is a bad idea, because most good terran will scan the creep to destroy the creep tumors, and might just scan in the right spot to see your banelings and ruin your trap. Instead, just use some zerglings to see the enemy army coming. It also helps to use fly mutalisks around in an attempt to lure the marines into the burrowed banelings.
