What do you think? That could be a cool feature. And it would still be a super unit.

By the time you get a mothership out you have at LEAST 3 expansions if not more.. it.. what..

    No!

I'm more into the spirit of removing the mothership and adding arbiters again with an arbiter tribunal building. The mothership doesn't really fit Starcraft IMO. Especially more than one.

I think the mothership should stay on the one unit cap but it really needs some different moves other then area cloak and mass recall (unused and cloak makes it auto target) and I liked its original attack the way it was.

I think it is used pretty often and in fact most people don't use it propery (i.e. they let it die with 200 energy...).
There is definetly a room for modification. I am not directly opposed to arbiters making a comeback of sort but I think that Mothership can make it through.

It's pretty obvious that in the current build the Mothership is just an Arbiter with a shiny new wrapper and much higher HP/SP. I always liked the Arbiter and it's abilities, so the Mothership is exactly where it needs to be IMO.

Also, an example of (Mass) Recall's usefulness:

Whenever I played my friends as Protoss in SC:BW, I'd always turtle/tech to amass a sizeable force of ground/air units, and one to two Arbiters. I'd then position the Arbiter(s) on opposite sides of the enemy's base from where my force was attacking, so I could bounce around and hit him from all sides.

Stalkers can blink there is warp in and colossi can move up cliffs so really its a unneeded move for such a expensive unit.

I think its a little disappointing that it is just a giant slow arbiter for sure. I would like to see it get a replacement for mass recall perhaps. Its probably too close to release now though.

    Your base.
Not on your life, I would much rather see this unit have a higher cap for the Protoss so it's likely not to be used very often.

The mothership is a great unit but could do with a planet cracker weapon. More than one on the field would suck balls.
