Official Starcraft 2 posters

As I have been a fan of Starcraft for 10 years I wanted to get the official posters of Starcraft 1 to paste them on the walls of my bedroom.
As they never existed, unfortunately, I wonder if there will be official posters of the Starcraft 2 universe.
I'd like to paste them on the walls of my bedroom. Yes, even after 10 years.

 

im sure there is a "collectors edition" wich you can buy, containing everything yiou want and moar

 

where can I get it ? On the official site ? Or at any shop out there ?

 

Just taking a quick break of watching dvd'S to awnser your question:

Most Starcraft wallpapers are now available in insanely high resolutions. Just go to your local copyshop thing. They should be able to make pretty good poster-size prints of them. Will probably cost you what, 5 euros or so? I can post links later if you are having trouble finding high res versions.

Ok thanks Seradin for this link. But I'd like to know if there are more pictures of the Starcraft 2 universe. Not only Tychus Findlay, but a lot of other great pictures.

Thanks for you Aurora. Is it possible to get some great, fantastic pictures available on high resolutions that I can download to bring them to a copyshop to print them ? It would be fantastic.

im also wondering why they only sell Diablo 3 t-shirts and not Starcraft 2 on the blizzard website.. i really want one of those..

SORRY FOR THE SIZE ! How to reduce it ?

 

The high res material available might not be enough. To get high quality print you need a larger source than that which you find at the SC2 site.

I am going to cover an enire wall with the Tychus picture, and I have used hours with the "Blow Up" plugin in photoshop. I used the high res render of Tychus available at the SC2 page.

But IF you were to buy the poster (Not available to us EUs.....) you could go to a printers and get it scanned professionally (Drum Scan). This source would then be enough to scale it up bigtime.

The file I`m currently working on is about 2GB in weight at 250dpi. Regular poster DPI for printing is 150. I am now talking sizes way bigger than any poster you order from a poster store. This is supposed to cover a whole wall. The did it a lot bigger than my wall here:

The main issue with interpolation of the SC2 render is that it produces loads of artifacts. "Blow up" helps, but it tends to smear or give the scaled image a painted look.

The size I have right now is W 34640px by 14764px in 250dpi. I am going to run it through a 12 colour plotter and the final print will have the metric size of ca 350cm by 150. That is the biggest hight the plotter can handle. I wanted bigger to cover ALL of the wall, but this will do just fine.

I might sound a little manic about this, but it is a lot of work to get this in a good enough quality.
My daily work is as a graphic designer, and I know **** when I see it.
