October Map of the Month Submission Thread​

In order to implement starcraft2forum.org's Map of the Month, Here is a submission thread for the month of October. Please review our StarCraft Map Of the Month Guidelines before posting a submission or suggestion.

You may submit any number of maps made by you, so get to it! :thumbup: On another note, I recommend using starcraft2forum.org's downloads database which can be found here to upload maps (or replays).

What is theme? Just wondering..

The theme is "Open" meaning there is no theme you need to restrict yourself to. Be free! Make an RPG, Madness, etc. etc.

Of course this makes the maps a bit harder to judge due to their possible differences.. However, it will probably attract more participant, and that's what we are aiming for..

I'll try really hard to make that map I've had in my head since early august.

Probably like last month.. and I was looking for this info when I got on this:

WHAT? NO! Submitting a map made by someone else isn't a good idea.. what if the maker of that map doesn't want to have it submitted?

Where is the wrong in free publicity? However I do get your point, if someone gets rewarded for someone else's work, it is no where near FAIR. I will edit that part out and we will now only accept freshly made maps.

I think this is a good decision and it will help to encourage the member's creativity even if it might lower the participation a little.. I'm glad the 2 maps of September were originaly made for the contest itself!

I may enter, I may not depends on how I feel at the time and how lazy I am at creating the map. Does the map database have a size limit? I'll see what I can think of off top my small p-nut moogle brain.

i will be submitting a map again this month. hopefully it will appear more finished than the last one

 

Depending on how many participants we get, items may be added as further incentives.

 

EatMeReturns: I'm sure it will be better.. that's usualy how it works.. in a few months, if you do 1 map every month, you'll get very good.

Any numbers of map? does that mean that I can submit Reflector 2 + another map that I might make later this month?
