For the rest it just cracked me up to see everybody there ranting about how impossible this would be, only to be owned by a Blizzard poster who says that it has already been implemented. Nice.
When was it removed? Either way, the G Star videos I posted already confirmed this since observer mode is used in it.
I'm afraid you don't understand. The observer mode isn't just returning in Wings of Liberty, it's functionality has been extended. You can now also select it in replays. This was not available in Starcraft 1.
Oh, I see My mistake EPIC FAIL!!! This is GREAT news!!! Is there still a one-person limit for the replay watching? As in, can I bring my friends with me to watch a replay?
I don't know. But if you ask at b.net: that new Blizzard poster guy is pretty active. Plenty of questions being answered there lately. Karune and the rest as all on vacation, and he's taking over from Europe. Seems to be pretty excited about his new spot as community manager. ^^
