I have a few questions about the Nydus Worm.
    1. How far along in the Tech Tree is it?
    2. What do you need to build to be able to use/build it?
    3. Is there any way to stop it from going into your base?

    Thanks everyone for your help.

    1. Tier 2 (lair) not sure about this though...
    2. The Nydus Network (or Warren, whatever the name is now) is the prerequisite and the acts as an entrance or exit for nydus worms (basically another worm).
    3. You can kill the overseer that is needed to plant it, the Nydus worm is created by an overseer, who acts as a spotter, scouting an area for the worm to be planted.

This should be up to date and help you a bit.

That link is slightly off, it says that the Nydus Worm cost 100 minerals and gas, but Blizzard have said that it only cost Energy from the Overseer, besides that the link should be good pretty good.

    1) Right beside the Spire in Lair stage.

    2) The Nydus Network, replacement for the Queen's Nest (position-wise). It is the central hub for every unit inside the Nydus Worms. The creation of this structure allows all Overseers to spawn a Nydus Worm with energy (75 estimate), which pops up quickly and is stationary.

    3) Yes, the Nydus Worm itself is a static building, unable to retreat. Either you kill this after it has spawned, or use anti-air to kill the Overseer about to spawn it. Don't worry too much, they unload units the same rate Overlords do (comparable to Warp Prism and Medivac).

Ah thanks guys! This helps me a lot, for a good strategy:D Sounds like, as a Protoss Player, I'll need a lot of AA! Like lots of cannons+ pheonixs and maybe some stalkers(if they are AA as well).
