So I know the enemy player to a terran doesn't obviously see the full on marking of a nuclear launch..So what does the enemy see? Is it the infamous tiny red dot?
In short, yes. But I think it's slightly more noticeable to compensate for the lack of a global announcement.
Did they decide to remove the global announcement because they're planning to make nukes much more available, (As we saw in the latest Battle Report)? Though it still seems like a pretty big deal, I think they should've kept in the announcement. Although, they may also be trying to appeal to the professional crowd; by removing all the 'noob-friendly' warnings.
There was an announcement on the left hand of the screen. I think you just don't hear it as a spectator or Blizzard just hasn't implemented the audio warning yet.
I suspect the last guess. Find it hard to believe that using more nukes is going to be encouraged in such a way. If Blizzard wanted players to use more nukes, then there would also have to be good extra counters. Haven't seen much like that happen yet.
Like what? If I get what you're saying then v Oh great now ppl can mess with the launch order and stop the Nuke from coming down, maybe I shouldn't use the nuke if that's going to happen to me.
The mothership had the Time Bomb ability that would destroy a nuke, but sadly it was removed, and replaced with the Time Rift ability. I think this does the same thing too.
