No longer an attachment... http://media.pc.ign.com/media/850/850126/img_4764225.html (go to image 5. I can't directly link to that picture for some reason, sorry)
You can see a missle emerging from the building to the left of the command center.
Do you guys like this idea? I think it's fine but I don't think it was really a necessary change. Anyhow, discuss.

Eh...I think I will still go with Scanner...I love Scanner Sweep that much. Although the decision might be more critical since we got harassers such as Reapers and Stalkers to take care of.

i think it would be scanner for main base, and then PF for expos. as the main base would be hardest to crack, and expos would need the most help.

That's pretty much my thinking, although a backup scanner or two is nice also

well, yeah. i was just saying generally.

@ millions, there might be a bunch of upgrades for the thor, they might provide additional supply as well, or you might need one per thor. or just because :p.

Fortress for the expansion, scanner for the main. That will be good, since minerals on the main base may be half depleted by the time the player gets the chance tu put the planetary fortress turret. (what a crappy name).

That picture was wierd though.. why not shoot the nuke farthest from the base as possible seeing how zealots can kill a zergling in like less then 3 hits. How does the drop pod work though? Does it have delay time and crush anything underneath it? I think droping one of those would be beter then a nuke, not damage wise but like more effective in this siuation. The other picture with the masive zergling rush would need a nuke more badly then anything a ghost can do, a couple of siege tanks and thors would be nice. :)

what do zealots have anything to do with a nuke to take out zerglings?

I like how you don't have to have the Silo connected to the Command Center apparently. If you can place it anywhere then that helps with space when organizing your base and it's defences.

yea, and now i think nukes are more accessable. one terran screenshot had 4 nuke silos, which would be very odd in a normal SC1 game.

I meant as in the gameplay footage when they showed a bunch of zerglings try to rush like a dozen zealots. They were so weak.

no, the zealots were strong. every pic with terran and zerg in it, the zerg are tearing up the terran.
and this isnt the first pic with them launching a nuke on their own base to kill some zerg.

Yeah, I meant the other picture that everyone has already seen. The siege tank looks just as strong (But dumber looking) and the blast radius is bigger taking out like 5 zerglings with one blast.
