Not fair???

    My friend thinks the protos are OP because of how they build structures. Mainly because they dont have to keep a probe where the thing is being constructed and they get crono boost. I dont really see anything wrong with that but he is convinced otherwise but do i say.

    But its been like that since SC1 o_O
    Has he even played SC1? First time I've seen anyone complain about that, lol.

    And everyone has some early new skill now.
    Protoss have Chrono Boost, Zerg have Spawn Larva and Creep, Terran have various skills on the Orbital Command.

    You should tell him to decide if the mechanic is balanced or it's been imbalanced for 11 years and not one person out of millions noticed it. The solution for him is to make him become better at the game - seems he's been pounded by Protoss quite a few times because he doesn't know counters, build orders, or basic concepts like scouting and micro/macro.

    Sure that's one of their strengths. But they have weaknesses too, they can't repair damaged buildings or units, and their buildings can become unpowered and useless.

    it's a race characteristic. it's a fundamental concept that's existed since starcraft 1. no, it's not imbalanced, it's just part of what makes it different.

    terran buildings can FLY. do you know the crazy shenanigans you can come up with that? their supply depots can sink into the ground. they can wall off without trapping their own army inside their base. the zerg... are zerg. they only need one of each tech building and just tons of hatcheries, so they can expand like mad.
