    Hi guys,

I bought this game today. I have a Pentium 3.0ghz computer with 2gb ram, 512mb video (ATI Radeon 9600) etc. After it didn't work the first time I went to the ATI website and downloaded the latest drivers then restarted. When I tried to run the game again, my screen jumped back to windows and resized everything massive then went back to the game (black screen, no music).

I tried again and nothing. My resolution is set to 1920x1080.

What can I do to get it to work?

The video card won't cut it for this game. The 9600 is simply too old to play the game decently, even on the lowest settings.

Did the game even manage to install the patch? If it didn't even patch, make sure crap like PeerBlock/PeerGuardian is shut off first.

If you want to try getting SC2 to run anyway, do a dxdiag dump and I'll see if it can be done on your setup.

To run dxdiag=> Windows_logo_key+r, dxdiag. If you have 64-bit windows, click the button at the button that says "Run 64-bit DxDiag," Then save all the data by clicking "Save All Information..." zip/rar the text file and attach it to the post. Instructions on how to zip here. To create a rar file, first download and install winRAR then read this guide here.
