Look at this one. I found it while I was searching for some new screens and info. It's (of course) a modified screenshot of StarCraft 2.

How cool is that? This is how the in game units should really be scaled, but I guess that you would need some kind of NASA computer to run the game like that. ;)

Notice the large beam at the center. Do you recognize it as the Planet Cracker? That would pack quite a punch.

I Did Zeratul11 made this? I found it at vilegaming.com, so I thought that it originated there. But if that isn't the case, then someone must have stolen Zeratul11's work, since someone there, with a totally different name, is claming it as his/her own work. Thieves!

He could be registered there with a different username.

Though I can somewhat guess how long it took him to create this, I don't like it. There are no shadows on a lot of units, and the angles at which some units are shown vary greatly, which make this scene stand out as artificial.

Nah, just think of that as his style. Everyone has a different style regardless of whether it's intentional or not. His works are more dramatic than detailed. They're done to capture the impact of the whole scene, not to replicate it.

I love the massive Warp Ray beam coming in from god knows where. :p

I always liked his art. As Kuvasz said, yeah, no shadows and stuff, but meh. That doesn't bother me. I just love these huge battles where everything is actually scaled. Just hardcore.

That's really in scale but I prefer the other method when the units aren't exactly in scale. It makes them easier to find and recognize. Would be interesting for a mod though to see how it could work but I personally believe it would make the gameplay a bit more tedious.

    btw, where has zeratul11 been?

nice screenie :) maybe blizzard will do some kind of cinematics at this scale in singleplayer.. who knows.. that would be awsome... there were some missions in SC and SC:BW that would've been much more fun if they were scaled.. think about the last mission in BW... Omega.. ;)

I can't find the pcture anymore at vilegaming.
I don't remember the name under which the picture was posted, the title of the art was something like "this is starcraft" or something, (how original, meh) but that only gets me nice zealot art, not the one I posted here.
