    Taken from Twitter:

The #StarCraft2 protoss core macro ability has moved to the nexus.

Cool. I think I was on about that before: The Terran macro mechanic is limited by the number of expansions held by the Terran player, while Protoss could just spam Dark Obelisks (or whatever they were) until their Proton Charges were constant.

Zerg can still spam Queens though...

No, not the last time we heard of it.

but with zerg they need the extra queens. Cuz players will either be getting more drones.....or more men.

The macro mechanics make a lot more sense on the Nexus. I don't know why they didn't have it there to begin with.

    Because of diversity.
    • Terran: Command centre (main building)
    • Zerg: Queen (unit)
    • Protoss: Dark whatever (misc. building)

Which is why I dislike the change. I never liked the pylon look-alike but having it on the nexus seems like an unimaginative solution copied from Terran. I would prefer to give probes the ability to boost their efficiency because that would be unique and just as effective thanks to the ability to select 24(?) units at once. It could be researched at the robotics support or some other higher tier building.

While I got you guys here and a topic of my own, I'd like your opinion on something. Would you rather I tack-on small pieces of information like this in other topics or create a topic of their own? I ask because I've spent most of my time recently at SCLegacy and their preferences are lot different than here. I usually hold off on creating a topic and tack-on some news to another topic, but then someone else topics it and it gets some hits. Just wondering what you think.

Create a new topic unless it is closely related to the current one.
