Well, it is now official: Final Fantasy VII is on the PlayStation Network. The game is currently only available for download in the Japanese store. The rest of the world will follow soon. The price in western currency is estimated at 15 Euros, the same amount probably applies in US Dollars. This version contains an all new cut-scene and minor changes in the game itself. You will have to find out what those are by yourself. Now we only have to wait for the true remake... ---------- Since it appears that we have quite a lot Final Fantasy fans on this forum, I thought this would be appreciated. I first saw this on the largest Dutch gaming site, www.pu.nl The official western PlayStation sites will report on this later, since it does not yet apply to them.
It's about time they added this on PSN. I'm not sure why didn't do it sooner because it will obivously sell really well. Recently I've been playing through final fantasy 6 again, and can't wait to go through VII again once it releases on USA PSN because somehow I am missing the first 2 discs of VII and only have the third disc and to buy it now for the original Playstation is anywhere from 70-150 dollars.
Cool, but FFVI will always be my favorite out of the whole series though. I'd wan't to play VII however anyway, especially on my laptop.
