I'm really new to Starcraft and I had a quick question. When making an expansion, how do you transfer your probes over? It's so difficult to only target like 6 probes when you have like 16.

What i like to do is Hold leftclick and drag to make a small box that slightly overlays your Main base then as the workers are returning the minerals they enter the box. release and they are now selected. Send them to your expansion. if your zerg i usually time my expansion with my spawn larve so when my expansion is almost done my larva pops and i make 6 drones then rally them to the expansion mineral line.

    wahh....16 probes....when u expand...whhoa

    1) why such a small amount of probes?
    2) what he said.
    3) i just get like ~1/3 - 1/2 of my probes mining and get them to the new expansion. dont worry too much about the precise numbers- itll help u be more efficient.

Fast expos like that as Toss are dangerous. :X But yeah, just box off like a couple of the end minerals and catch a few probes, righ tclick the nexus if any of them have minerals and then send them to the expo.

even with forge FE(very hard to do in sc2), you should have more than 16 probes :O
