I SAY the thor attack should look like that! make it powerful!

I do really like the missiles coming out of the Thor. Looks sweet. I might have to critique though, that you sacrificed some clarity for the sake of less cartoony. The Thor, for example, sort of looks a little too scribbly. I think it's important to make sure to instigate a greater sense of overall structure for the units. The smaller units like the zerglings get very messy due to this problem in my opinion.

But as far as the Thor's attack goes it looks VERY badass. I think with all those cannons on it there should be a larger variety of fire that comes out of it like you showed. Good job.

Special note tho: I BELIEVE you can only submit one entry per person. Or at least only one will be selected for the final entry. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's the case. Good luck in the competition!

1 entry? omg! now you know what my entry is.. il change it! i bet you 2 are going to bring the best 3d stuffs you can offer and make it a wallpaper. but anyway bring it on =p

my screenshots is realisitc by the way. all are pretty much the actual size i think, except for the environment.

its not yet epic. im still waiting for the predators. im going to add more on that, more battles, lasers, phoenix, and warp ray zapping small terran airships.

unfortunately, i started with that resolution, so there is no other larger than that. =\

edit~ next stop is going to be the most epic ground battle ever!... but only protoss and terran. i only got 3 units for the zerg.

Well, it certainly isn't smooth. lol. I like the Thor missiles.

 

i tried to smoothen it but its hard. i just cut and pasted everything except for the environment and bunker so its gets a little dirty so what i did was to sharpen it and just gave it more artistic painting or realistic sort of feel.

i have the not smoothen version as well. but i decided to upload this one.

@graham how about the thor lasers? haha. it looks more powerful than the current one they have.
