new zerg unit maybe in game

i am readin the novel shadows of the xel'naga and in that book an old dog named old blue died and was infested. the old dog was destroyed in a suicidal explosion. later in the book however we hear the queen thinking that she would create a new experimental type of zerg based on this dog.

That novel is quite old, I have read that and I know what you mean.

It is very unlikely that that will happen, that creatures was only created for literacy purposes. It only happened in an remote planet, and we already have the evolution of Zerglings (Banelings), which wouldn't make sense. The novel was also made before they began working on SC2.

So either way, that is highly unlikely to happen.

 

Sounds like a Baneling to me. ;D

 

Since you said yes it does, i wanted to read the novels but somewhat i can't be bothered

 

maybe further in the book they altered the unit to be vulture like(vulture vehicle that is)

Unless the Zerg absorbed another Dog somewhere else the "Roverlisk" strain is extinct. Sadly that is not likely as the Roverlisk was just a test of the Dog Strain of Zerg.
