Do you see that wormy looking thing on the bottom right corner draped over a cliff side? I think it's some kind of doodad.

Well, what if that could be a new Zerg transport unit that enables all friendly units to traverse over cliffs? Kind of like a mobile siege ladder. Now I know it's not a transport per se, but it will still serve to greatly increase the Zerg's overall mobility.

Erm, there is actually already a unit for transporting purposes.
    It's called the OVERLORD.

Well Nydus Worm is scrapped for the Wings of Liberty. I was thinking this could be a good replacement.

First time I saw that thing, I went and assumed it to be the new Infestor, but how wrong was I :p?

I'd like a cliff-climber unit for Zerg, an APC sounds great!

The Nydus Worm could be used in such more ways.. I don't see a reason for another transport unit.

Well woulnt that be a little overpowered?
Think, especialy on maps that have a lot of cliffs that would mean that the over lord drops a bunch all over the map and you can then send any ground force striaght to the location and he enemy can't. It would however make retreating easyer. (oh no there overrunning me run for the cliff!)

Also if the enemys base was on a cliff/down a cliff you could send a bunch of unite straight into there worker line.

It's still a good idea but it would be very slow and have low HP. Maybe even lower then zerglingz. (for balence stuff)(or maybe not) how ever I doubt that there would be any lore (or maybe an extreemly small sntence missed by all.

Kool idea though. (my only question would be what tier they would be put. Lair maybe?)

The Nydus Worm was never out. It just works as it did in Starcraft: Brood War again. Idea still sounds fun, though. Maybe something for a custom map. Care to eleborate on how it could work?

    Hmmm, A Zerg APC.

Maybe an infested civilian vehicle with added carapace armor growing all around it.
