New Terran wall clipping

    So today I log on after dling the patch, and I play a zerg player on scrap station. I found out the hard way that when you put a bunker against the edge of something and it looks like you could get through it, you actually can. So I lost that game and wrote it off, played some more.

    But then I got to thinking. That was scrap station, with the big *** ramp. Even if I had known about wall thing, I still would have had to put down an extra supply depot. Considering I already had to put down 3 depots to wall in, I now have to put 4. The zergling rush that beat me got there as I was in the process of putting my 3rd one down. I don't have the money for a fourth one at this point.

    This means that now, on maps with large ramps, I have to change my build order and cut economy slightly in order to be able to either get that supply depot out, or get out my second barracks fast and wall in with that. Obviously its really only a concern with zergling rushes, and maybe a proxy pylon cheese or something. So now on certain maps vs zerg I have to cut econ in order to get fast supply depots. Not really complaining, its sort of interesting though. I could see people who are into 6 pools or fast rushes setting map preferences to only play on large ramp maps.

    No actually that wasn't what it was. It was an issue where you could before build a depot against a wall and the zerglings could not get through, and they changed the clipping so that they now can.

    However, this thread is pointless now, because they fixed it in their "patch 10" quickfix thing. Now buildings can be built completely against the wall.

    The issue was that you used to not be able to put depots up completely against a flat wall, but they would still block anyway. After patch 9 all the sudden that path was no longer blocked. But with the hotfix they changed it so you now can build depts completely against a flat wall.

    Also the name thing is funny because I always use the same handle for EVERYTHING but when I made my Starcraft 2 account I changed it just because the whole name.identifier thing threw me off for some reason. Then I used my character name for this forum.
