Time Bomb. Force Field. Hight Templar. Firebat. OMG! *drools*

I think this is the first time I've seen the Nomad and... well, one word: ridiculous. And the tanks seem to shoot in the 'old' 2 small barrel version and not the one huge like a lot of us suggested. And the Firebats look really mean ^_^

Do you get text messages for your cell phone after every little bit of new info? ;D I have no idea how people find such things and so fast...

ps the forum becomes slow every now and then... hope it's not someone trying to get in control or anything :)

Those Firebats are HUGE! They are of zealot-size!
I like this. Its size separates it from the other infantry.

    Great !

I like the third picture. We see the troop as if we were near it. I like the marines, they don't have their silly shield and bayonnette. I like their design too.

I like the firebats !! They are great. .... However I think their flamethrower is a "bit" too big on their arms.

What unit? I cannot see anything in the picture like that?

The Nomad isn't visually attractive but I'd like to know how it moves before I complain that it doesn't look good. Also if the visuals on the abilities are good then I don't mind so much. I like the idea that the Devs try out unique designs but the Nomad graphic isn't awe inspiring.

The Korean web magazine, GameMeca, published today three new StarCraft II screenshots,
featuring the never-seen-before Terran Firebat and Protoss High Templars using Force Field.

Eh it's called Force Field... IIRC.

I don't see the point in this duplicate thread. The first one is just as fitting for the front page and it even has screenshot spelt right ;)

Phase Prisms are sexy. Especially if you see them in packs... you have no way of telling what things it has in it and in what quantity (since everything is turned into pure energy I assume all units occupy the same space... like 2/8 for a Probe but also for a Colossus Tongue). Phase Prisms are definitely my next favourite units after Colossi, having Immortals in 3rd.

Na, they take differing spaces (I don't even fit Colossi fit) cause of complexity.

Blizzard confirmed that Colossi can be transported via Phase Prisms.

And I would think energy particles that make up the "cloud" of a unit are very very small and the difference between units would be very little and might not even be in the quantity of these particles but their quality. Besides, it would further differentiate the races with Terran having the classic way of "the stronger the unit the more space it occupies" (or it might have been in proportion to their supply use, I can't remember), Protoss having this and Zerg... well maybe a mobile Nydus Canal in the form of the Nydus Worm, meaning it doesn't actually have units in it but they "warp in" from the other end of the Worm which is attached to a Nydus Canal building.

    Holy topic derail ;D

Karune seems to be drunk he is answering questions like mad. One of his most interesting reply is that Firebats now get generous HP but are produced in the factory. They still are healed by medics and fit in Bunkers though. He also hinted that the Flamethrower might get the Colossuses "sweeping" attack.
