one thing i have noticed is, unlike the wraiths, the vikings really look out of place in deep space. the viking's shape and design give me the sense that they only operate within a planet's atmosphere

 

wow i need to pick up my jaw from the floor. The only thing thats missing is a screenshot of the battle later on but with zerg fliers overwhelming the damaged fleets But i would love to see that screenshot as a cinetmatic. Epic battle ftw!

Is it just me or do the phoenixes look tiny?! I thought they were interceptors at first.

 

Nice image! I don't think that the Phoenixes are too small. Remember people, BattleCruisers are HUGE.

 

that's completely true, but things were scaled in SC1 so that you could see all the units. If that's the size of the BC then the marines were also huge if they were in the same scale. Smaller units appear larger so that they're easier to see and control. Hell, I'd lose half my army if they were all that small to scale. I wouldn't be able to see them.

 

Nah, im pretty sure they didn't care about realism at all in SC1.. Other wise a squad of Marines wouldn't even dent the BC's hull.. so and so forth.

 

Yeahhh thats what im talking about! really cool Zeratul11, why not to add the mothership? well that probably would end that fight but hell that´s still very nice, good job!.

Hahaha! I can just see this huge space battle and the mothership just appearing, casting a black hole and all the little shippies go bye-bye into it. It'd be awesome!
