Man, those black stripes are seriously screwed up ;D Also, you left the "shine" layer in the top-right corner hanging. If you tend to forget about such details, just use clipping masks whenever you can, which would come in really helpful here.

The sig itself looks nice but I think you can do much better ones.

I like the idea of your sign, but those stripes aren't straight in line. I suggest making the yellow-black part one layer, making thestripes look better, so it wouldn't be that messed up. I really like the simplicity of the upper part, I mean your name, and the citation btw.

I say lose the stripes if you can't do it properly ;D But keep the top shiny. You could also try a 1px black stroke with hollow letters instead of the shadow with black letters.

 

Or set the fill opacity of the layer to 0, and give it an outer glow of the colour you'd like.
In the other points, I agree with kuvasz. The shine looks nice, and it is even better without the strokes

 

I Done the stripes properally on the second one in that picture, they're all inline.
