arg when are they gonna show multiplayer footage ><. the single player is nice and all but i, like most of us, are more interested in the multiplayer and the new bnet.
Ballistixz this last month has been the first time blizzard has ever shown us any singleplayer gameplay (story mode doesn't count) surely the last 2 years has resolved any multiplayer lust you could have excluding actually playing the game The vulture model looks quite nice!...a "destroy the train" mission reminds me even more of mech commander than the grass tileset... "Runs off the find his mech commander CD"
In the third picture, could that possibly be the Brutalisk they're fighting? If so, is doesn't give too great of a look at the model, but it looks nice. And great find, thanks =)
I'd say that's one, or perhaps even two tentacle monsters. Looks very similar to the tentacle monster to the left anyways. The Vulture and Goliath models truly look worthy.
I'd vote for Brutalisk too. Those harms coming out of the ground looks like Overmind arms... but way too small. "That just gave me an idea. A map where the battle field is on the *new* Overmind! Zerg could build anywhere yay! and run fast on the entire surface." That would be sick slick.
Never mind, for some reason I thought Alasdair meant the bigger thingie to the right. Yeah, what they're fighting could be a Brutalisk. But only if it's featured on multiple maps since the map with the confirmed Brutalisk side mission is a lava one, taking place on Red Stone. I doubt Blizzard would re-use it for that city map instead of oversize another Zerg creature for surprise and variety.
I don't think it is the Brutalisk. The bonus mission appears on the "mining your own business" campaign, and that planet has lava all over it.
Gearvosh, says that there are at least 2 Brutalisk in the game, 1 on the Lava mining mission, and another on a different mission. it could be possible that this is the Brutalisk on the different mission, its also possible that each Brutalisk looks a bit different from each other since that does not look anything like a Broodling.
