The forbidden kingdom was the first ever movie that i watched as soon as it came out. Man, jet li and chan made it epic. I advise people to watch this and don't worry about the white guy, the fight sequences really evens things out. Also, the transition from chinese to english was also well played. If anyone's watched the Black Knight (*****y martin lawrence movie), this is like the Black Knight but with more money and no martin lawrence aka which means its good. Any feedback?
OMG white people?! in a Jet Li/Jackie Chan MOVIE!? ok... Im not a huge fan of chan, he kind of degrades the asian race in my opinion (raises flame shield)
Why does one man have to carry the ideals of the whole community? Its called being different and unique ;] But I'd like to know in what way does he degrade the Asian race. I'm not Asian btw.
Hey... uhh.... hate to break it to ya... but...this is not exactly what The Arts means by telling people to go watch a movie. This may be better off in the Space Junk section.
You have it wrong my friend, Chan plays such a nice role model in asia. He teaches us (i'm chinese) to work hard for your goals, he definitely does not degrade us
That's not what I mean. The Arts is for things YOU or your friends made. Space Junk is for telling people to watch movies. Im sure most of the admin here will agree.
This thread is fine skyblades. Read the description for the arts again. The Arts: Music, Writing, Photography, Paintings, Cinema, Television, Architecture, Opera, Theater and Dance
[ot]Architecture? LOL[/ot] Anyways, Chan and Li acting (or fighting) together is like Al Pacino and Robert De Niro acting (or killing a bunch of random innocent people on screen and otherwise acting the part of big Mafia bosses) together.
they both would totally kick a$$, the only plus of chan to jet is that people will notice chan more with the comedy and stunts that he does himself
