HYBRID?????

Look at this 'zerg'. It has many protoss like features (the eyes, and something that looks damn much like a shield.)
People, is this the face of the hybrid?

 

I dont see it. and the part that looks like a shield probably comes from the blast.

 

Man, look at the head, its definatly not zerg.
I know all artwork has a little difference depending on the artist, but look at this one and especially the mouth. The difference is too big.

Do you have a decent screenshot/artwork with which you could prove it looks anything like a baneling? Because the only thing that I see on the trailers (I watch them on youtube, I can't see hi-def on the moment, my computer has some issues) are rolling green balls...

OH SHI- could the zerg have assimilated protoss scarabs?

 

What artwork? I thought you were gonna post another picture of a baneling to prove to me that the first picture is actually a baneling (and we see no lower body on that one.)

 

the artwork of the first pic. we dont see a lower body because there is none, it's just a wheel with arms and a head.

 

I want a second opinion on that one ;D

 

regarding coalescence's 1st picture, those blue lines around the blasted circle can be rather deceptive. It's probably not even shield's effect, but rather the energy that gets released when the "attack" hits the zerg unit.

That might be a good explanation.

But I still don't think its a Baneling, If you look closer you see its actually no ball and the body doesn't stop at the bottom of the artwork.

 

heh heh, nevermind. if you look at the cinematic trailer, it's the same image as the artwork.
the artwork is just that, artwork

 

Anyway, how does not having legs make it a Baneling? Hydralisks don't have legs either, so you'd expect it to not have legs.
