New Infested Terrans are suicidal :-P

Am I the only one who noticed that, after a period of shooting, the infested terrans blow their own heads with their guns?

I noticed that right now, watching the HD video for the 12372987398073489th time :-D

Also, are these the so called shriekers?

Ohhhh! And I wouldnt mind some power ups for the suicidal find :-[

As far as the suicidal Terrans go - that wouldn't make sense. Are you sure? I'll have to take a closer look at the video I guess.

Well, i am POSITIVE about it, to the point of beting ALL the few minerals I have.....

Omg. They do actually shoot them selfs. I noticed a few shooting them selfs in the face. But I think it may be a part of their death animation. Since at the end when the Marines were dead the Infests went on to kill the CC.

I've tried to screenshot it but its pretty hard.

 

well, I tried to make a short movie clip of the suicide animation, but to no succes.. these screenshots really don't help.. you will have to notice by yourselves... It is not that hard... choose an infested terran that is not one of the first to enter battle (since he will die by the marines) and you will see what I mean... the HD version helps

Having so many Marines at one time like this, maybe they got a timed lifespan like the broodling in the original SC. After that time they die, or decide otherwise to shoot themselves up.

We need more high res videos :upset:

Its not a timed life span cuz the ones at the back don't kill them selfs, which means its part of their death animation.

 

Well, now that people believe me, I can sleep in peace... Noone comented on those eyes in my Screenshot way up there! Any official info that those are the shriekers that expand your base's defenses range?

 

interesting, hmm... if they would just kill themselves like that, why dont they just add a suicide explosion ability to them where you can blow them up with an addon ability
