I believe it would be great if a ghost alone could call for more than one nuke or droppod at once. It just makes a lot more sense - if the ghost is pointing for one nuke, why not for many at once? Think about it: no more surviving buildings left, making the nuke an even more devastating weapon. And I don´t think balance is going to be a problem, since the nukes in starcraft 1 were almost never used by pro players (perhaps it might become more common). It´s an ability you have to pay for in order to get, so I´m sure they could balance it out.

Realisticly: The first nuke would blow up the next.

    Gameply wise: Too strong

Actually, it doesn't make sense.....Why would you want to nuke the same place twice?? I mean, bigger buildings would survive, but you should always follow a nuke with a M&M or a barrage of tank blasts. Everything else is already dead. Plus, ghosts are relatively cheap, so why not just make two?

Drop pods....Well, ghosts only have one lazer on their gun.

Ghosts can't channel more nukes at once because they have only one laser or whatever they're channeling it with. :)

^^Exactly. They have to hold the laser on the target till the last min. And as Fenix said why not just make two ghosts? The best way to balance it out is to just forget it.

having the first nuke blowing up the second is not that bad, it still explodes

You don't know bombs. A proper detonation of a nuclear device requires a carefully timed explosive lense collapse the material in a perfect sphere.

Gamewise a nuke chain reaction would be stupid anyway. There is a reason not many explosives chain react it becomes to unwieldy

i know how nuclear bombs on earth works but this is starcraft not real life. the "nuke" are not necessarily the same. it could be designed so that explosion could trigger the detonation device of the "nuke".

anyway it's a game and the physics we know do not apply. just ask the mutas who flap their way around the vacuum of space

Besides other´s opinions I still think SC1 nukes needed some balance (how many games did Boxer use nukes?).
Two (or more) nukes could blow up simultaneoulsy, and the signal (or coordinates) the ghost gives with his laser could just be sent to the other nukes as well. Actually, nowadays there are nukes whose detonation device is a smaller atomic bomb, so it would be realistic.
Is it only me who hates those buildings standing after a nuke?

Thanks for sharing your ideas anyway.

Um....anyone here play on Boxer's level?

    *Crickets*

    Yeah....

The physics of a nuke don't quite work like that. Nukes actually explode right above the ground. They're detonated with with computers, not impact. That's why you have issues where a plane with a nuke crashes, but it doesn't go BOOM.

Don't whine too much abot the base still standing. In game whete it classifies as a superweapon it still can't take out a base

Plus its a little tidbit called a TACTICAL nuke...a full blown nuke would wipe out the map, your computer, and your mom who lives in Switzerland.

    Do not mock the T!!!!

Fine...Jack and Chuck you can have...T is debateable....however, Terrans get...the entire Ocean's series cast!!! That means we get Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, and the most badass of them all...George Clooney :p

This is way off topic.... but.. w/e

Why would you want Brad Pitt? All he's gonna do is adopt an African Baby...

Maybe we should just put the Ocean's cast in a drop pod... see how long they last....

    It's the perfect sacrifice unit!

If you REALLY want to drop something dangerous, put Bruce Willis in.

Why? Because Brad Pitt was Achilles in Troy that's why :p

Actually...I'd rather have the ultimate weapon...Bruce Lee!! Terrans call him!
