New hellion hover design!

NEW HELLION DESIGN! it hovers, better terran sci-fi look and feel, cooler, impressive looking, and bulkier just what flamer vehicles should be as they tend to focus fire and not run away in RL.

and its my design. lol.

the tower on the tops moves 360 by the way. and the model could also be smaller in size just like the cobra. It has 2 cockpits.

a few improvisation and something similar to this design would be fitting for the hellion's role. how about the buggy? it has no place in the terran universe cept for the mistaken cinematic in SC1 were it hit a zerg weakling.

so what say you? you want something like this instead of the buggy?

what do you think of this model for the cobra or diamond back model? i think it looks good with the rail gun or electric gun of the diamon back. And it looks darker just like the marauder and heavy armored as well.

looks like a really heavy................umm.........tank....that wouldnt be able to move fast. Maybe make it look smaller? like, really small?

 

yes its a little heavy for the role. but ofcourse it could look smaller or sleeker as well with some changes.

or it could be the next gen giant vulture, it can deploy multiple spider mines! il name it the terran scarab.

 

It does look too heavy to move fast, but that design is actually kinda cool. What models did you splice together to make it?

Looks awesome, but I agree that it's too heavy for the hellion's speedy role.

 

yeah, i agree. it looks too fat and bulky. the current hellion is like a dirt racer with a flamethrower strapped to it. a hovering hellion should look something like... a hover-dirt-racer with a flamethrower strapped to it.

 

LOL, asdf... yeah, I think this one might be a little too bloated for the Hellion... looks more like an APC or something which is something we've suggested in the past.

Perhaps I'll let Blizzard see this design... since I like you Zeratul.

I really like the look. It seems like this would be something you would acully see on the battle field versus the hellion we have now plus the idea that it hovers would meens it could go fast.

say its a hover transport or a giant spider mine deployer. ^^

also maybe blizzard will change the hellion to something different from the buggy.

Looks good, though I wouldn't say it's right for the Hellion, and personally I love the practical side of a lot of the new Terran units.

How'd you make it?

 

actually after looking at it again..its starting to get boring. Maybe it needs some jet packs at the back. And some pimp lights at the front.

thanks. honestly it gets boring after awhile. maybe its because its just a prototype design, like an alpha version. also its not animated. yeh i can imagine this with huge battery cells or jet engines on some of its parts and a headlight upfront would be awesome specially in action.

Like most people here I think it's a very cool concept, just not very fitting for the very fast Hellion.

Nice job. I just can't see it fit into multiplayer.

Actually I was rooting for the old hellion model with its 4WD type model, but it wouldn't make sense lore-wise to be a speedy type vehicle if it will be hindered by the terrain. So a hover model is very likely the good answer. If not, then maybe a nitro-booster on the posterior could make it look flash, ala bat-mobile!
