    Good find PO!
    Still reading but:
    Roach tier 1.5 (pool)
    Hydra tier 2 (lair)
    Lurker tier 3 (hive)
    Baneling tier 1.5 (pool)
    THIS IS JUST SO GREAT
perhaps baneling should be tier 2, but the rest is good (3 tier 1 is a bit to much)

Larva have no armor... Zerg are very vulnrable early game.

Lings don't have speed/attack upgrade. No more cracklings.

Roaches are pretty much in the position of Hydralisks.

That infest mechanic sucks IMO. Whats the point of producing mass Infested Marines for it to turn back to normal. How does that make sense lore wise?

YES!!! infested Protoss. Thats what the fuck I'm talking bout.

Zergalicious the larves will probaly have some special abbility so that they cant be killed. The lings ate already so fast, they will not need it.
And there was mentioned: Short lifespan (passive). So they will die, not turn back to normal!
Edit: it seems like the buildings turn back, not the marines. Now I understand! Perhaps because the Terran have made some potion against it? Else the abbility would really be OP...
Ok (still reading, in my last post i did not have the chance because i needed to leave), seems like some of the Queens abbilities will cost minerals/gas!

Look at those unit renders... Very nice. They will make for some great pet images. :D
I always like new info, but the Larva having no armor is not exactly what I would have liked to hear.

    Also I don't get this:
Queen --> Mutates Into: Lair Watcher
Lair Watcher --> <Mutates From: Queen> --> Mutates Into: Hive Matriarch
Hive Matriarch --> Mutates From: Large Queen

What is a Large Queen? A typing mistake, or something that we might have missed?

Also, what's up with needing a separate building to produce Banelings and Lurkers?
If they are tier 1.5 they should be build from the Spawning Pool, especially since they mutate from Zerglings. We didn't need extra buildings for the Lurker or the Mutalisk mutations before, so why do we need one for the Baneling now? That's just ridiculous.

    [edit]
I just saw that the Deep Warren is only an upgrade of the original Hydralisk Den, but I still think that a regular upgrade should be enough.

The Ultra has 600 hp! That's just scary.

The Matriarch has less energy than the Watcher. I guess you trade away the energy for all that hp (600).

The more Zerg buildings right now, the better, IMO. Remember that there are no Colonies, Sunkens or Spores, so Zerg bases will be quite empty without additional pre-requisite buildings.

That's true. But I always liked the way in which the Zerg kept everything so basic, unlike the Terran and especially the Protoss. They were a nightmare to create a good base lay-out for.

The Infested Terrans use the same weapons as a regular Marine. Does this mean Stim Packs? That could be quite deadly combined with inherent Zerg regen abilities.

That would be powerful, but I don't think it will effect them since they are no longer human.

Agreed. Those are very good candidates for becoming pets.

I thought roaches were melee attackers... how come they can attack air? And the Hydra was totally changed... no longer the staple unit for the Zerg. I don't know why it has different attacks for ground and air... it doesn't make any sense because it still shoots the same projectile.

While these stats are a nice addition to our knowledge, they also reflect the way Blizzard is thinking. And I have to admit I don't like it, especially the facts mentioned above.

What I don't get is why the Hydra got nerfed.

    SC1 Hydra

    MIN: 75
    GAS: 25
    HP: 80
    Damage: 10 / 10
    Tier: 1.5

    SC2 Hydra

    MIN: 100
    GAS: 50
    HP: 80
    Damage: 8 / 10
    Tier: 2

Gforce, NOTHING is final, so should we stop discuss everything, or discuss using the current build?

We have been around for long enough to know that gforce. However, we also know that Blizzard listens to us, and we are not happy right now. By the way, the Roach has no air attack, that info is old already. Cavez, the sc2 lead designer, confirmed that they are melee only last night on the b.net forums.

perhaps they wish to turn players to use the new units more thats why they change tiers the hydra or make it a little less powerfull...

as for the unit to "pass" all teran i prefer to be a new Lurker, as it was actually and still is , the only unit able to attack borrowed, tha mean that as creature has something uniqe to hit target Far away under any kind of teran...so why not been able to select a higher e.g ground and lurker digs a hole and appear there :)
    like ripers to with jets.

or the queen that is much bigger... i dont know

btw there are some Blue news about colosus and Medic... :p just an hour ago

I have not read the links, but I can say with great certainty that the Colossus CAN go over cliffs.
He cannot climb 2 level cliffs, but then he could never do that.
