I upgraded some parts recently and thought Iwould share some photos of the build. I purchased a new case, motherboard and 4gb of ram on a budget upgrade. A few weeks ago I also upgraded the cpu which is a core2duo 2.9ghz. The upgraded specs are below, I also picked up a cm 2 basic case that was on sale for $67 bucks, its everything but the external Esata port in the utility tray, which I dont need so its fine. I had good experience with coolermasters previous cm690 case, although some of the quality were not top notchm they have definitely improved greatly on this case' design, quality and technical build.

Friday night i did the computer transplant after visiting the computer store www.NCIX.com which recently opened up in my area. with my old Videocard, optical drive, psu and a few fans I installed it into the new case. It took the whoel evening as I was also cleaning and removing parts from 2 other computer cases.

I have also finally upgraded my Os fom win xp pro to windows 7 ultimate. I must say its nice to have some eye candy. However im still learning some of the functionality as i dont like the new launcher compared to the old quicklaunch bar and some other little explorer differences and startmenu stuff that make it difficult for me o have shortcuts where i want and need them, but overall, im still learning.

Thanks to Mako, rui-no-onna, kuvasz, jasmine TheXev and all those for advice and suggestions.

Oh....i really cant stand the baby-blue color of those gigabyte Mainboards. I have one myself and personally prefer something thats a lot darker, thats probably why i didn't do any photos of my build. Bought a nice case and a pretty ugly MoBo :)

Once you get used to Win7 it gets pretty nice, i think. But the differences are really heavy in the first few days/weeks. But afterwards you really will like it :)

I fail to see how the board can support quad SLI when it only has one PCIe x16 slot (I counted 2x PCI, 1x PCIe x16 and 4x PCIe x1). Where's he going to plug the 3 other graphics cards? It's a Gigabyte. Even their budget models tend to overclock very nicely.
