New Cinematic SCII Footage

    An official StarCraft 2 commercial was aired during the second round of the NBA finals between the Celtics and the Lakers: primetime American television. The 30-second spot featured never-before-seen cinematics and cut scenes which had the community drooling after an early leak of the video. The ad also confirms the release date as July 27th, 2010 which would make it very hard for Blizzard to back out of now. Without further ado, here's the spot:

    Lots of footage starring Nova, Way more than kerrigan and about as much as Zeratul.

    The one thing in cinematic division of SC2 is to have another marine vs hydralisk battle somewhere, The Battle aboard the Amerigo was my favorite and i want another like it in HD.

    it must be kerrigan before she got infested, i mean theres a bunch of zerg closing up on her so it must be her.

    Nove is blonde, Kerrigan is ginger, so those footages were recapping Kerrigan's infestation (also note the swarm around here in the top-down view). No Nova in there. But the video is indeed epic beyond description :D

    Ok guys, so I've read that the video is epic. Haven't seen it yet though and I'm doubting - should I see it and go omgievme or should I wait another month until the game is released?



    EDIT1: Couldn't resist and watched the commercial...

    EDIT2: I like how they say 'The wait - is finally - over', if there was a terrible terrible damage reference in there the vid would be epic beyond description

    I was just about to ask who the brown haired woman in the video was. But I am thinking the same as you now. Kerrigan before she got turned into a wacko monster.

    I always thought kerrigan's in game portrait made her look late 20's-30's.... not a 20 yr old anime chick...ah well blizz has to run with the times.

    So basically, she was about 26 years old.
