New ava and sig

well, i got really tired of looking at my old sig and avatar...
i mean, yeah, it was awesome but it was just a simple edit-edit of legend of mana sprites

done.....well maybe....

Time spent:
Sig:
Hair - 40Minutes
The Rest - 50Minutes
Arms, Hand and Fireball - 45Minutes
Blue Dragon - 30Minutes

Avatar:
First Crappy version - 1Minute 32Seconds
Second Version:
Editing Needed Frames - 50Minutes
Animating Frame-by-Frame - 1Hour 10Minutes
Avatar repeat time - 10Seconds

drew eveything by mouse
soooo comments and etc would be nice

Sig is awesome. But you wanted some suggestions. There you go:

- Maybe make the colours slightly brighter, but that could also be my screen. Set it pretty dark to spare my eyes.
- The font is pretty cool, but the underline is a bit to much for my taste.
- Maybe some light source between the front layer of that guy and the large version layer. Makes it stand out a bit more, now it is like you blended it in.


And just promise us to get back on the avatar. I am sure you are more creative then that. Especially after looking at the sig. edit: wait, you have drawn that ava by hand? 1337 skills!

PETITION

I want an option, I mean a new opfficial thread where all the users of this forum can post a new nickname if they want to modify it.
Example :

I am SOGEKING now.
On this thread I post "hey there, I wanna a new nickname. I want to be called Léguman"
That was an example. You can just type "Léguman".

BUT you can modify your nickname each 4 months !

 

actually soge, for that you need to but a "change name" item from the shop, it costs 10k or something, but shops not fixed yet

@ aurora:, well, i drew it by mouse, not by hand, ahaaha, i dont have a digicam or a scanner here so i cant really draw something on paper then shop it.... and it was nice manually adding the lighting effects where there are dark areas on the guy

Even more respect on that then. Drawing stuff with a mouse is much harder then by hand. Good job.

Hehe, you have to buy that in the shop. And it costs quite a lot. Unless you did something really good for the forum, that is.

 

@ tink-think of the guy as my "character" or "icon" for the next few months, or until i draw a new one

@aurora- used photoshop cs2, and 40% of the time spent drawing it was on the hair...

 

my opin of the sig at first was is ursawarrior some free 2d MMO and thats ur character? and the character himself IMO is plain.. but considering you hand did it with mouse, props for that. You should have him like grinning everybody and maybe have his fist out about to preform a spell.. graphics and stuff all around it.

 

My guess is that the guy is supposed to look clean, and I think it looks awesome.

Hehe, the pencil tool can be hard to use for that stuff. I would have used a brush for the hair, but I am just lazy like that.

 

dont worry about that tink, im getting to that part, but drawing 1.5 hours is enough for today, its 2am here....
