the "stimulate pressure" doesnt work for me at all its still the same line without the "fine small line then thickens then goes back to small fine line at the end" effect so, maybe its my version because im using cs2 or do i just need to download additional brush strokes?
no, you know when you use the pen tool to draw the path of the line, then use the brush tool to configure the settings for the line (like how thick the line is, etc.) then go back to pen tool and tick the "stimulate pressure" then stroke path... i always get (1) and not (2, sorry for crappy illustration), the edges should be finer/smaller and the circled part should be thicker and whiter because its the midpoint of the line.... i hope you get it
Have you tried looking for a newer version of CS2? Or some kind of fix... CS3 also has a few bugs but they're related to things I don't use often.
thats the effect i was looking for, and may i ask vasz, where do you get your fonts? like the font on ace's sig and yours EDIT: whats the name of that brush vasz?
The type is called Visitor, and I use TT2 for my watermarks and other really small text (it's also on the tm frame). I don't know which brush you want though. edit: I totally missed the point of your post I don't have a set website where I get typefaces from, I just google the one I need or I browse and download the ones I like. edit2: I figured out the solution to your simulate pressure problem - you need to go into the brushes palette and turn on 'shape dynamics', even if you set nothing there.
