Need help with PvZ.. bronze league 1v1

Hey,
So im a newb in the bronze league 1v1 and i cant seem to beat zerg. I almost always play as protoss and i can beat terran and protoss about 99% of the time. But i always have trouble with zerg. Any help you can give is appreciated

some things to note, you need more probes, when you expand you can then move probes from one base to another. secondly you cannot go 2 gate robo stargate. you dont have enough money to make units from all of these buildings, which meant you cut stalker zealot production, but these units are the most important units in your army, i find the best way to play is not to have collosus or voids, but rather just haveing lots of stuff. ( also build your pylon on 9 rather than 10)


also you do need to have a plan against each one of the races, so that you know what you are doing in the beginning.

 

i really have no plan against zerg. If i four geate rush, i get roaches or lings too fast. if i wait its mutas... I just never pick the right thing to do.

 

the issue is not what the right thing is to do it is if i do X what must i worry about killing me. with a four warpgate you can honestly handle everything i they have mutas you just kill them with stalkers, if they have roaches kill them with stalkers zealot sent, if they have hydras kill them with stalkers zealot sent. you simply need more basic units so always be making them. although you can opt to do either a 2 gate plus robo or a 2 gate plus stargate. if you produce out of all three of those units producing structure you will at some point have just enough money to expand. if you go 2 gate robo stargate you cannot produce out of all the structure nor can you expand.

 

You should try to start up with constructing a pylon, a forge then 3-4 Canons at the entrance to your base to avoid them to rush you down. Then make a Gateway and a couple of Zealots. Always remember to keep making probes all the time.

This is the starting tactic I usually use against Zerg.

 

From what I can tell (and trust me, I'm no expert) you were jumping your Voids around too much. You almost had the spire down but then you switched off onto the queen.

Also you went straight in with the voids...hit zerg from the perimeter where you can limit the counter attack and use the response time to get the voids up to full power.

Overall I think the match was closer than I think you realize. If you killed the Spire and survived the queen you would have been in good shape for a kill.should have waited til you had one or 2 more voids to throw against him.

 

This are a few advises that really helped me to increase my rank in bronze league from 50ish to 5th:

- Keep making workers
- Always scout
- Against zerg, keep hunting overlords to supply block them often

 

since i reached gold league i have been playing zerg. And there is nothing that i hate more than stalkers backed up with dts, the stalkers snipe the overseers while the dts finish me, now i have learnt my lessons and always have at least 5 overseers in my base, if not, i will most certainly lose against stalker with DTs

As a zerg player, I seem to have problems with dealing with mass stalkers. After a certain point, there seems to be nothing i can do to deal with them. Maybe try that.
