Need a cool anime to fight the rage

All i do is work work work and work at playing starcraft I need a good anime to relax too... None of this highschool drama crap or foofoo ultra super chicks with over 9000 chi. I want something like the old days. Like Outlaw star or Cowboy bebop and the new one Speed grapher that was pretty bad ***. You know the kind im talking about the how anime should be kind.

Any suggestions?

 

Tengen toppa gurren lagann is quite cool; giant mecha, cool battles, unique art style, engaging story, unsubtle and yet at the same time deeper than it appears at first glance. I convinced quite a few peeps on the forum to watch it already.

 

Deathnote? Only one I ever got in to. I watched a few episodes of Bleach, a few less of Fullmetal Alchemist, too little of Eureka Seven, quite a bit of Blood+, and a couple of Ghost in the Shell. Person who guesses what network I found all of this on earns a cookie.

 

Ya seen Gurrenn Lagann actually and most of death note hmmm... I never finished deathnote. and Ive seen all of full metal alchemist and Eureka Seven and Blood+ >.< Dun like bleach and never got into Ghost in the Shell.

Speed Grapher is super awesome though... check it out if you havent seen it.

I was kinda hoping for something unknown to most people... Like Fate/Stay Night no ones seen that one and its super aweomse...

Trigun is good. SDK was okayish.

Might give Baccano a try, though it's... different. If you like it there's Durarara by the same producer.

Oh and let's not forget Sunred. Best anime ever

Yes and no. I've seen few eps and read the manga. It IS awesome, yes.
DN and Sunred don't even compare in any way. Too different genres
