Very interesting National Geographic program i found about WCG 2005 of StarCraft. That's sad that russian guy didn't take the first place. I'm very proud of him, because I'm russian too.

haha.. when i first saw the title of this thread I was like WTF? I imagined some documentary. " Watch as the pack of Zerglings hunt the lone Marine." While not very strong, their speed and surprise attacks will overwhelm him. They will feast on his corpse for days, until only bone remains.

turns out it about the game. I've already seen it but it was good back then.

Same here. For the first time I was completely lost, and then I'm like, cool!

Eonmaster - when Koreans lose a Starcraft championship, you'll know it's the Apocalypse.

The Earth was a dark place. And then god came and said "Let there be StarCraft 2"

And so it was done, and with much rejoicing, the Koreans finally lost the World Championship.

Was this really on TV? Interesting. I liked the 3D map sketches a lot.

Yes it was. It was on the National Geographic channel "Show Real Asia" being the title of the show.

I agree, the 3-D map sketches were awesome to look at. I'm just wondering, are the same colors always on the same spots on the map? since they were talking about red corner, blue corner, ect.

Hey someone actually knows less about SC than me ;D In melee games you have a certain number of start positions. Start positions mean main building + 4 worker units and they get a random colour when the game starts.

I just never thought or took note about the starting area colors. I know there is only certain areas that players start at on the maps, but I've only been playing for 3 months (not a lie), so there is stuff I still don't know about, or am not good at.

though sometimes, it seems that the game wants to give a certain color, for a certain spot, in my experience, like in lost temple, the east base usually is red but, not always I've seen orange, and teal there, i think it might have something to do with the color, of the stating point put there on the editor, but generally its random

I stand corrected :) I don't know much about map editing... or maps in general for that matter ;D Which is why I don't enter any MOTM.

Hm... anyone wanna play, like, now?

Yes. Also, if anyone wants to join, please do so. I'd then have the chance to test if I can host more than 2 people...
