Mysterious green thing

What is this green thing in the new screenshot? It looks like it left a trail behind itself.
Maybe a new (Zerg) ability? Do you have any suggestions?

Edit: When I looked at it a little more it seems now like some projectile.
When it landed, it left a trail and you can see its ''nose'' in the ground.

OK, that does it. Can anyone finally explain what a doodad is? It's not even on wikipedia.

Edit: Lol, forgot to mention that it indeed looks like a projectile.

 

ok im gna try explain what it is:

a doodad is a "sc" enviroment that u can put on the map (eg. trees, rocks, dirt, statues, gravel, small bushes etc.)

EDIT: someone that is a pro can explain it to u in a better way....hey english is my 2nd language =P

Superman will just be a new Protoss (super)hero. I think it is clear that in descriptions of Superman, "Protoss" is frequently mispronounced "Kryponian." The main reason we can't have a Fortress of Solitude level is that it was destroyed along with the rest of the surface of Braxis.

So it's just a thing they have put in for fun. To bad it hasn't got anything to do with the game. It would have been cool to have some really big projectile or something.

And about the language, that doesn't matter so much in my opinion, as long as people can still understand you it's just fine.
It's my second language to, Dutch is my first (wOOt for the Netherlands) and I've learned more English on the internet then at school.

I thought that it meant Kryptonite too o_o but its probably because I don't know what "homage" means lol.

And it does look little plant-like....somehow, just can't put my finger on it. Could be just thats its green and in the ground and that those two characteristics scream plant into my head. But Karune already said it was something that has to do with superman so moot to the plant idea MOOT.

-Off Topic:I'm not sure what moot really means, I think somewhere near ;"of little or no practical value or meaning." And I just like to say it...hehe..moot.

 

Moot is most typically used as an adjective, so the correct phrasing of that sentence would be, "the plant idea is moot."
